To replace the crown that was worn (and now is a nice paperewight) I am going to be using this.

..one week to go to Christmas…

This is what happens when you fix a broken crown tower and ride it around europe.

The tower in the pic was broken off at the base, and it was fixed with a screw from behind. That caused just enough off-balance, that the crown was worn like the pic shows. The other side had no marks what so ever, other than usual signs of wear. You couldn’t feel this at all when riding, though.

For the sake of my beloved followers and their sanity;

Here it is. A little lighter than the old one.

Unfortunately I do not know the km’s that this pack has seen, but it’s worn all right.

I’ll have to measure the individual plates at some point.

Here’s another used part. Doesn’t look bad at all, for 33k km’s, I think?

Weight is just over 900 grams. I don’t know if all factory drums are lightened like this one, or is this an SPS -thing?

Feels like waiting for Santa, doesn’t it? (pics of the new parts.. ) C’mon, you can wait another 2 weeks, can’t you? If you’re nice, you might see something even before..
