This is what’s next in line.

What’s the other o-ring for??
More info here
Should be another easy 15 min install, I get to change the fluid also.
The levers are on.
Regular clutch.

The brakelever is shorty.

Easy install, 15 minutes max.
(I know, the bike is dirty, but hey, it’s still months to go to riding season.)
More pics..

this is the bushing made last august. 998’s have this part as default (maybe manufactured a little nicer?)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these bearings. Back on the bike they go.
Again…
This looks to be in order? a slight clean ring about 10mm from the top of the pic. (doesn’t show very well)

Here’s the bearing: SKF BAH0062 Can be bought from the local SKF dealer for 47 EUR. (8.2.2007) I didn’t buy it yet, first this one is coming off and it has to be examined more closely.
The one on the other (wheel)side - I do not know the type, at least not yet.

Oh, one more thing; about customer service. I’ve recently had some bad experience with customer service and this time, with the bearing, service was top notch. I sent an e-mail to SKF and the next day I got an answer stating that, ‘yes, this bearing is available, but because it’s a bit of a special type, it normally doesn’t show up at the dealers system.’ Then they informed the dealer I had visited earlier and I went there and they were right on top of things. THAT’s how you handle customer service. NOT like a certain local consumer electronics seller. Enough of that.
Via Ducati.ms forum, from Sean, I got these wonderful adjustable Pazzoracing -levers.
You’re eyes are not decieving you, the brakelever is shorter..
There are all sorts of colours you can choose, for the lever and the adjuster.
BLING BLING!
I cleaned the airfilter. Still have to oil it.

Battery is loading in the background.
Also, took off the rear sprocket. I have to do a much closer inspection as to why it was so loose, there’s too much sideways play in it.
It’s been qiuet here for some time now. Let’s see if I can manage something during the weekend.
Sorry for the long hiatus.
