Everybody knows that ducati rear brakes are so-so. (maybe all bikes are like that?)
So, my pads were on the thin side, I thought I’ll give EBC a try, so got me a set of sintered EBC pads, type FA47HH. Note that regular 996 and 996 SPS have different type pads, regular type would be FA266HH. 998 has the same as SPS. HH means sintered.
Waiting for installation.
Edit: fast forward a few hours; I just took a test ride. Holy $hit! Now the rear locks up without major effort. I don’t know if this mod was an improvement or not?? 
Now I think I have tested that the slipper works…
