This pic was taken at the local dealership, accross the roundabout from the factory.
There was a Desmo16RR at the museum’s main entrance and one at the dealership, I hope someone somewhere isn’t waiting for them to be delivered… unfortunately I didn’t take a closer look at them to see the serial numbers.
The one thing that annoys me is the lighting. Especially in the ’round’ center room. The fluorescent tubes are under the bikes and that makes taking pictures challenging. A smaller thing is that the factory focuses mainly on racing bikes. But the space of the museum isn’t that big, so I guess they compromised and went with the racing theme, I suppose that’s mostly what the marque’s reputation is built on?
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go on the factory tour (Only by reservation beforehand) all of the tours were booked weeks in advance and there is only two tours a day.
