wash
Due to recent complaints about the appearance of my bike, I had nothing better to do on a nice sunny August day, so I decided to clean her.

..nice scratch on the tank, btw.
Hopefully there’s still some warm days in September.

The Diablo Corsa lasted about 8000km. Pretty good, I’d say. (the front was on for only 5k km, still in good shape.)
The new ones are Metzeler Rennsport road, can be found pretty cheap from mandp.co.uk
also, the always necessary rear brake bleeding was done too.
On friday, 470km in pouring rain.. back on sunday, no rain.
My rear tyre is done.
Here’s a few shots:
monday morning addition, the bikes:

Some of the tents. There was also cabins and hotel rooms.

Some of the bikes.

More bikes. Note the bevelhead and the Benelli Tornado.

Crew.
The place/location was great, a small lake with two saunas, the services at the bar/restaurant good, a lot of familiar faces. All in all, a great weekend, despite the friday weather. But, my 10-year-old Gore Tex suit worked as it should, the boots not so well.. gloves were full of water within the first 60 km… time to get new ones.
This years trip down memory lane at Imatra was held this past weekend.
Here are a few pics from the meeting.
